The plaster walls in my 90 year old house are an effective Faraday Cage. I have to really juice the power on my WiFi to get decent coverage.

Can you get calls on your cell phone inside your house?

Our old stucco home had metal lath exterior walls, wood/plaster lath interior walls and a slate roof, fwiw.

Rabbit ear/TV reception was almost impossible without connecting to the rooftop antenna.... only 20 miles from mid-town Manhattan.

I'm guessing the present owners sit in a bay window for any cell reception.

One of the best Faraday cages is prison and/or older churches, what with all of those iron bars. leaded glass and stonework. Nothing's going to get in or out.

This type of total Faraday insulation may hinder prayer and other psychic conveyances, more clinical research is needed in this field.

The microwave is shielded and the smart meter is not. The SM puts out more then 50 times that of a shielded microwave and 1000 times that of a cell phone. With due respect, you are a paid company worker, or an ignorant person.

.

If you can use your cell phone in your cell, then it's not a very good Faraday Cage.

I have no idea how prayers and other psychic energy is carried. Is it quantized too? I wonder....and if it is in the form of waves, then couldn't your enemy pray for help too and set of a Dolby Prayer Suppression System, so to speak, to neutralize your prayers? But I digress...

If I recall a problem in Vector Calculus correctly, a Faraday Cage does not eliminate EM radiation inside, but diverts it equally around the surface so the vector sum of the total flux is zero at the center of the volume....The Preppers who are counting on using their computers and armored vehicles after The Big EMP are gunna be disappointed, I think.

You point out a very important fact; that we have so many devices and items of equipment emitting on so many different radio frequencies that the smart meter isn't the such a big deal.

The frequencies used are specifically those the military uses to disrupt and make people sick. They are the human resonance frequencies.

This is just conspiracy theory bunk.. Here is what the American Cancer Society says about smart meters "the amount of RF radiation you could be exposed to from a smart meter is much less than what you could be exposed to from a cell phone, it is very unlikely that living in a house with a smart meter increases risk of cancer. "
