Cloud seeding was originally experimented with by the US military, not in order to improve rain for ag purposes as advertised, but to potentially cause huge storms that could disrupt things for our enemies.
I rate the above post with a + but need to spread some around elsewhere

Tried following all of the information on CONTROL {lbj's term) modification, etc . Even began to Look up the US patents and well, it depressed me. Dept of Defense was in there. Darpa? a few others.

None of our weather just happens anymore.

'They' became efficient at weather chaos during the 70's practicing on viet nam I had heard/read.

All down hill from then on.

Apparently we tried cloud seeding to make the monsoons worse/prolonged in order to slow down the supply route along the Ho Ci Minh Trail....But it only slowed them down (maybe), not stop them. It just prolonged the route and the war. (As an aside, this is why the leaky CoV vax actually hurt us-- It only slowed down the progress toward herd immunity, prolonging the epidemic. But that's a another story.)..With muddier than usual jungle, our own troops were also slowed down.

This same logic will also prevent Putin from using nuclear weapons in a tactical role (assuming he's thinking logically). While a nuclear artillery shell may wipe out a whole battalion with a single shot, it will also prevent his own army (or anyone else) from making use of that contaminated land for decades.

I don't believe we've used any weather control methods since the VN War, realizing the meager and chaotic results were not worth the effort or the unintended consequences.
