I have a feeling later on down the line they'll find out that these "earth saving bugs" can somehow mutate into something else once they've eaten enough plastic. Suddenly they become these huge, mutant, plastic filled bugs that are more harmful then the plastic they ate and then end up causing more harm then the bottles ever could have :PPPPPP

They already have. The adult ones look like credit cards.
