Haven't read the links but as I understand it the primary issue is storage which will be particularly problematic in many areas because the ground is not suitable for it.
According to the spokesman for a the Polk Power Plant in Florida it is very much capable of carbon capture but they haven't been able to test it because the state of Florida will not indemnify them against any catastrophic releases. This was mentioned on the PBS series
