Far as Weeks plant is poor editing by WS journal as it had nothing to do with MOM. (3rd paragraph)
Minnesota cereal maker opening distribution center at Union Cross Business Park - Winston-Salem Journal: Business Beat

The distribution center will be a short drive for trucker since it located a couple of miles from 311 or newbies call it I-74. it will always be 311 to me at least in the Triad it is
I was meeting someone several weeks ago at a location in Kernersville. I was telling them I was off I-40...they kept saying "new 40?". Took me a while to realize what they meant (I'm a newbie, only been here 3 years).

Also, I thought the ONLY reason Wallburg incorporated was to avoid annexation (I live just outside Wallburg).

Yeah, I don't think anyone was disputing that it's in Winston. WSNC was just pointing out that it's in a different part of town than what your original post said.

And yeah, the "New 40" thing gets me too. It's been DECADES. If "new 40" was a person, it'd be able to drink legally by now.

I have family in Wallburg and they say they only incorporated so WS couldn't tax them to death and rule their lives.
