Born Mt Gilead, OH...Columbus, then The Woodlands, TX...Sugar Land, TX (I have to put both on there since Houston is SOOOO big), now Winston Salem. We've been here almost 3 months and LOVE it. It's a relaxing change of pace and I only have to drive 4 miles to my office, not 25!!!
From Lexington NC, moved to Greensboro NC in 87 to attend college and never left.
I have been all over the country and tho there are many places that are "cooler" than NC, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. 4 seasons, 3 hours to the beach, 2 hours to the mountains, 5 hours to DC and Atlanta, 10 hours to NY, good schools, great colleges, affordable housing... what's not to love?
Born and raised in Chappaqua, NY. Went to college in San Diego; lived there about 13 years. Spent a little over a year in Nevada, then two years in southern Utah. Then 5.5 years in Portland, OR area before moving to NC in 2005: spent 4 years in Greenville, NC, 2 years in Louisburg, and now just over a year near Wallburg (and don't want to move anytime soon!).
