I'm looking to move to North Carolina from Florida and have narrowed my choices to either the Winston-Salem or Raleigh area. Schools are a major factor influencing my decision due to the International Baccalaureate program that is only offered in a few selected districts across the state. My question is this. Are there set individual school boundaries where the students mainly attend the school closest to their neighborhood or are they bused to less than desirable schools across town in attempt to bring up the test scores in a particular school?
