yes Greensboro is great for singles Most of these colleges are close to the downtown area

I read the other day that MSN.com rated Greensboro one of top 30 cities for singles. I have never considered Greensboro a hot spot for singles but I know its a lot better than Roanoke. I would suggest you look at Charlotte and Raleigh, they seem to be attracting lots of young professionals with their dynamic economies.

I was in Greensboro over the weekend and I was totally amazed on the amount of people in the downtown. I live in Charlotte area and I actually thought there was more people out in the downtown than in Charlotte uptown. Great varieties of music, and people. There are quite a bit of colleges close to the downtown Greesnboro making it a good place for a single least for 20 somethings and 30 somethings
