No worries. You will be fine. Your children may start say aint and yaw. No worries most everyone else does. Fact is water is pumped from the Yadkin to a couple of treatment plants. Winston Lake is a secondary supply.

This is the new pumping station off the yadkin. The treatment plant and pump station off of Beroth Rd. Off old yadkinville rd. The is near Clemmons off Dock Davis Rd. Plant is off Frie Bridge Rd.

First thing they put it into sediment ponds. Then filter, treat, pump to the house for those children

At any rate, I think it behooves all of us to educate ourselves about what's going on around us, no?

And at the very least, the Yadkin Riverkeeper seems quite intent on educating people on what's going on with the river and their water ... not all of which is of a "don't worry yourself, everything's fine" kind of bent.
