Actually, it was the poster "MaggieDog" that said she takes her cattle dogs to Belews Lake. Unfortunately, she hasn't posted in 3 years, so I would doubt you'll be getting a response from her.

There are only two public access areas at Belews Lake, so I assume Maggiedog was referring to one of them:
