Does anyone know how much on average waiters make in the Winston-Salem area? (rent)

I will be moving there in a couple of weeks for school and Im worried about paying rent. I used to have an hourly job so I never worried about paying rent since I could budget and knew how much money I was making. Rent is only $350 month including utilities and unfortunately it was the cheapest rent I could find. I have no clue what the clientele are like in Winston-Salem.

Obviously waiter pay varies depending on the type of restaurant. We have all types of restaurants here, from simple diners to higher end, reservations-only establishments, and for a city its size there are a lot of places from which to choose. I have no idea how tight the job market is, but it seems there's usually enough turnover that you can probably find something acceptable.
