Renting with an eviction

I have an eviction notice from my landlord at a business establishment. I owe only$250 back rent and rent due by the 6th. which would bring it to $1,150. Is that legal?

Is what legal? That he wants to evict you when you're behind on your rent the $250? If that's the question, I would say the answer is "yes."
