Moving to Glendale Hills in Greensboro, NC... (sex offenders, crimes)

Hi, I'm moving to Glendale Hills in Greensboro, NC in a couple of weeks. I was told it was pretty safe by the folks I'll be rooming with, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to post a thread about it. It seems pretty run down out there.

I usually like to take my dog jogging in the early hours before work while it's still dark. Are there any neighborhoods that are especially good for running in Greensboro?

It is a run down area, but I'm not familiar with crimes statistics. Not sure what you are looking for as far as a neighborhood to run in.

I just need a place that has sidewalks and that is safe to run at in the dark. I usually run before the sun comes up. As long as there aren't a lot of drugs and hooking going on Ill be fine. That's mainly what I was wondering was about any criminal activity.

Sidewalks are pretty abundant in Greensboro, as for criminal activity can't give you any info for that area. Depending on the distance you run you may be able to concentrate more toward the Fisher Park area.

Going to answer my own question here. I looked up the crimemapper and that small neighborhood has burglaries about every week. A few sex offenders too.
