Does anyone know of a photographer / studio in the Triad that has experience with international passport / visa portrait photography? Bob at Cutting Edge down in Cary is a bit far away...

Most Walgreen's drug stores can do the photos for you, at a reasonable price (around $10 or so, as I recall).

AAA - If you are a member it's free. Not sure of the price for nonmembers.

UPS Store would be another option.

Greensboro: N. Murrow Blvd. post office does both photos and applications. Ditto for the post office at Hanes Mall in Winston Salem.

Many thanks to all who replied. These are all options for US style passport photos - they're similar but the requirements for many international passports are not quite the same. I'm going to try our UPS store - we may just get lucky, depending on how it's done.

Wow, I totally missed that differentiation! So now you can educate us. Who issues an international passport? Why would you need one in addition to your regular passport? Just curious....

I'm guessing the OP is foreign and either needs a passport for his/her country of origin or a visa to go somewhere.

Anyway, in Friendly Center in Greensboro, I found a photo studio that made my photos for a Canadian visa. Specs for that one are weird, but they managed to pull it off. I recommend them. The name is Portrait Innovations or something like that.
