I will be attending grad school at WFU and am looking for recommendations for apartments convenient to WFU. However, priority is a safe neighborhood. Would appreciate recommendations for best areas/apartments and areas/apartments to avoid.

There are lots of apartment complexes along Silas Creek Parkway and Reynolda Road, most of which are very nice. You can go to google maps, enter "Wake forest University", then click "search nearby" and enter "apartments" to find them. Sorry I'm not familiar enough to recommend specific ones, but in general anywhere west of University Pkwy and north of Coliseum Drive will be in a safe area.

Good luck, and congratulations on getting into grad school!

I enjoyed the Crowne Oaks apartments right in that vicinity.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will be looking at Crowne Oaks and Pines at Bethebara, both of which are west of University and north of Coliseum. Kevin, how long ago were you at Crowne Oaks?
