@Francois ... sorry. That's the best way I could come up with to describe the area I'm looking into.
Why?
Just a hunch really.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of tornadoes
Fresh water
The areas have both good and not-so-good land for growing gardens
There are areas that are both "rural" while close enough to urban centers that I can find a Home Depot and a VA hospital
And I'm not alone,
I have relatives on the East Coast
I can live with the weather
Affordable
And as an African American, I'm not moving to some place where I'm the only one.
