I am thinking about moving to NC. SINCE I NEED go to High point furniture market twice a year, I decided to move to either Greensboro, or High point. I just searched high Point, I found school is soso. I have an 8 years old girl. I want a place have nice school, affordable house, safe neighbourhood. I will be very appreciate if you can give me full idear. Thanks, I will be in Grennsbore, High point on Oct 12--Oct 17. So I need make a decision , so I can look for house then. .. BY THE WAY, is there any train in Greensboro?

you're not going to find better schools in greensboro than high point, probably comparable. there is no train in greensboro. if you go to the furniture market you might as well stick with high point because it's cheaper to live in high point as well.

It sends chills down High Point city leaders spines to contemplate this, but there's no guarantee the furniture market will always be in High Point. I would not "build my life around it" unless I had other reasons to live in the area.

exactly- i don't get this. if that's the only reason you're moving, don't. just rent a room. or if you're coming with a group of people, pool your money and rent a house. it's how a lot of people here pay for their vacations every year- they rent their houses out for a week and head for the beach. unless you have a job and better reasons to relocate, you might want to rethink moving.
