Alanboy, go for it. Living in NoVa right now and have been trying to move to NC for three years now. Looks like it might actually happen, now. Was originally looking at Raleigh area, but jobs will be taking us to Winston-Salem. I have a friend there who moved there from Sterling and she loves it! A second that it's just as nice and much more affordable!!!

ok here is a little update. I've decided to replace High Point with Greensboro as a possible destination. I know that Greensboro and W-S have areas to avoid. Just to help me what are those areas? I would be open to a small town feel, spending most of my life in mid-sized cities.
