Any good ideas? My husband and I (mid 20's couple) are not 100% party animals but we don't want to sit at home! Any help would be great!

We haven't had much luck finding anything either. We were thinking of making the drive over to Greensboro to RumRunners, a dueling piano bar, but I think they have a live band tonight. Closer is always better, let me know what you find.

We have been to the Fox and the Hound the past few years. It's not too bad. We were just trying to find other places...

Default New Year's Celebration for 2008/2009 at the Embassy Suites Grand Pavilion Ballroom

Not sure what kind of budget you have for your New Years festivities, but the New Year's Celebration at the Embassy Suites Grand Pavilion Ballroom sounds like a good time if you're willing and able to spend a bit more than the Fox & Hound will cost (then again, you could probably still run up a $95 bar tab over the course of the whole night, plus dinner, and the hotel option is WAY cheaper than a DUI )

(I found out about this on Smitty's notes--great site! )
