UNC Greensboro will be expanding its footprint along Gate City Blvd just west of downtown with a town square style dorm complex which will include a grocery store, retail and restaurants.

I read Spartan Village Phase II would have 26,000 square feet of retail space. The grocery store planned could be either a boutique grocer or a convenience store.

Looks like it will be a Bestway grocery store. Bestway is a local based neighborhood type grocery store which had a few grocery stores across the city, one located in northeast Greensboro. The store on Walker Ave is the only existing store now

Not to get off topic but the Bestway is NOT any where near the same store it was 10 years ago. The current owners took a giant size, run down, out-dated convenience store and resurrected it into something great.
