It's like the chicken and the egg, NC didn't get the Toyota/Mazda plant because they don't have the supply chain logistics for car manufacturing, but they don't have those car part manufacturing companies because they don't have a car assembly plant!

I realize all this who's in, who's out came supposedly from leaks, but I don't get how NC could even make it all the way to the Final 2, without the supply chain logistics to begin with? It's not like all of a sudden it's some sort of surprise there are no car part manufacturing companies in NC like they have in other states, did Toyota/Mazda just realize that? If the reason they gave is the "true reason", NC should have been one of the first states out of the race, not the runner-up.

Maybe Alabama gave them $1 Billion or $2 Billion or more in tax breaks/incentives?
