Hello all, I'm just reaching out to see if there are alternative options for health insurance in NC. Obamacare only provides ONE insurer (BCBSNC) and frankly, I can't afford the $2,000 per month premium for a family of four. Just hoping that some might be in the same boat and can help guide us. Thank you so much.
Might be worth checking in with a ACA Healthcare Navigator and making sure you're getting all the subsidies you're entitled to. I know BCBS raised their rates, but $2000 a month does sound high.
Thanks. Basically in NC I have three options for 2018. Be penalized for going above the income limits and accept BCBS Obamacare or go through a Christian Co-op or just not have insurance and pay a penalty...
