I don't agree because there's no jobs in oak ridge summerfield kernersville nw gboro period. Most of the jobs are downtown and eastern side if you count the hospital also as eastern.

Now the the new road construction has been completed, there's a lot of grading of land out in Oak Ridge/NW G'boro and there's talk of putting a shopping center next to the Cameron Campus. In time, Oak Ridge will probably have as much shopping as anywhere else.

Publix has been speculated for Brassfield Shopping Center. I have not read or heard any updates on the speculation.

Publix won't make a decision on the location for this project until August, and it will be 2023 before the first hires are made.

I have read a decision could be rendered in August also. If Greensboro is chosen as the distribution center's location, the next processes would planning the distribution center with what warehouses would locate there, going to the design phase, soliciting bids for construction, and proceeding with construction.

Specific employment target dates mentioned: 500 jobs by 2023; 250 jobs by 2024; 250 jobs by 2025.

I know it's speculated that Greensboro will get it but after the Toyota let down, I'm just going to wait for an official announcement.
