Winston-Salem ranked No. 43, with high scores in desirability and value. Greensboro ranked No. 60, with high scores in value and quality of life.
Other North Carolina cities cracked the top 25 — with Raleigh and Durham ranking No. 13, Charlotte at No. 22 and Asheville at No. 24.

The new list released on Tuesday rates North Carolina's Triangle above Charlotte, which took the No. 22 spot, down from No. 14 last year. Winston-Salem is No. 43 (down from 37), and Greensboro picked up spot No. 60 (down from 51).
I still find it so peculiar how they rank Durham and Raleigh together but Winston and Greensboro separately.
I've been saying that for years raliegh/Durham work together to form a major metro Greensboro and Winston work against each other as much as they can lol. It's ridiculous
