good work out....? (Clemmons: home, YMCA, health club)

as we are moving to Clemmons in the near future ..another question on my list is whether or not their are good Health Clubs / Gyms right in Clemmons. I know there are plenty in WS but don't want to have to drive far for a club. Any feedback and/ or recommendations...thanks!

The West Forsyth YMCA is fabulous and it is located right in Clemmons. They are also building a Peak Fitness in Clemmons right now.

Nothing but great things to say about this upscale facility....the customer service and facility are far above the rest. So friendly and clean. The employees are always doing whatever they can to make your workout more enjoyable with a smile. Top of the line exercise equipment and cardio machines, always the hottest group classes going, (which might i add are free ), free Child Care with people you can trust with your children.

I recently had to bring my children along with me and left them in the Child Care at the facility. I am usually hesitant in doing so at most places, but felt so relieved when i went to take my kids home and they did not want to leave!! It is a safe, fun place for children and a great feeling as a mother knowing if i ever need to bring my children along, we will all be pleased!!

I HIGHLY recommend the Gold's Gym on Reynolda to anyone who is looking for a friendly, clean, family type atmosphere to workout in. Great place, Good people!!!

and don't forget, fitness 2000 on lewisville-clemmons rd....there is also a gold's gym on jonestown rd which is in WS but only 1 exit away from clemmons...

unfortunately, for you, it is on reynolda rd in winston. but i would say if you could, it would be worth the ride. its about 3 mi from wake forest univ. have you had any luck yet???
