I work over there, but I don't know of any apartments close by. You may have to look in Thomasville or Lexington.

Thank you for the information!. We stopped by today for the open house at the school and after driving around some, our son decided to live in High Point and drive down to school.

Went to the open house and drove around the areas some, doing additional research on safe areas for off campus housing. Thank you again!!

This is what I was thinking. Never heard of housing wrt a community college.

This would depend on the OP son's situation, but it may be that he is already working and would be living on his own and going to school as well. And though most community colleges draw students from a smaller geographic radius than a 4+ year school, a community college may have a specific program in a particular area of study that would attract a student who lives outside the immediate area where one could commute from where they live now. Mr Rational is correct that community colleges don't have on-campus housing that I know of either, but those could be reasons that she is asking about this.
