Me also. Wasn’t there once a Lidl planned for Burlington too, I seem to remember reading about land being prepped?

I would very much like an alternative to Harris Teeter at this point, to encourage the grocery prices to go down a bit.

For those who aren't aware, the LIDL is proposed to be built out by Adams Farm Shopping Center on West Gate City Boulevard (High Point Rd. for old timers).

I wouldn't compare LIDL to Harris Teeter. It's more like 75% Aldi, and 25% Trader Joes. I have noticed that since the store in Thomasville opened, surrounding stores have milk about a dollar a gallon less than you'd find in areas without a LIDL.

I passed by Adams farm the other day. Mackey rd and Gate city boulevard. There seems to be a building ready that looks like a lidl. Anyone else see that?
