Single 37 years old, how will life be in greensboro? (college, live)

I am contemplating moving to Greensboro but I keep reading about Greensboro will be boring and as a 37 year old single I feel it will be isolating. I know people will say go on meetup and there are groups but is meeting people hard, is life fun? Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm 39 and I would say "Do not move to Greensboro " mostly people my age ,already have partners or got wise and moved on to cities with better dating potential. In my personal experience all the single people here in Greensboro are college age. Also if by chance I do meet someone close to my age range, they usually come with the " I plan on being here for a year then moving on" speech. Greensboro is a very transit town it appears for anyone in the under 40 age range.

I'm a married male who has lived all over the US and have been in Greensboro for 2 years. Before i was married I never had any trouble meeting people/women no matter where I lived, assuming it was a decent sized city - which Greensboro is, imo. If I were not married I don't believe I would have any problem meeting women and/or making friends here. Have made many friends already, in fact.

So the answer to your question OP, is 'do you feel confident meeting people in general, or are you shy and mostly a stay-in person'? If you're fairly outgoing and upbeat you'll meet people don't worry, just know that sometimes YOU have to be the one to initiate actions. Good luck whatever you decide.
