Been a member of a great local credit union bank in my home town for over 30yrs, and relocating to Kernersville.
Would love to hear some favorite banks in the area.
I saw PNC, First Citizens, Wells Fargo right in town. First Citizens seems to have solid reviews. Truist not so much. Just looking for family banking, possible small business account as well.

Truliant or Allegacy Credit Union. Avoid Wells and B of A like the plague.

For what it's worth, First Citizens is NC founded-and-owned.

Default Credit union

How about Piedmont Advantage? Looks like they don't have many locations, but these days so much can be electronic

Avoid Chase for business banking. Trust me on that.
