After the state provided incentives, Governor Cooper has announced that
Honda Aircraft Company will create 280 jobs and build a facility on its PTI campus in Greensboro to manufacture larger transcontinental jets. Honda Aircraft Company will have close to a total of 2,000 jobs at its campus at PTI once the plant opens.
the average salary for the new positions will be $88,761 a year. The company's world headquarters is also located on the PTI campus.

This is a huge deal for Greensboro which comes on the heels of Boom Supersonic building its jet manufacturing facility at PTI. It too will eventually have 2,000 employees at its facility.
