We have NO idea what it's like, all we know is that the brand-new constructions look beautiful on the internet....Does anyone have any info on this area? Is it a city with a lot of suburbs? Any info on day to day life out there? How are the schools? Any info would be greatly appreciated. We're planning our 1st visit next month
~Thanks~

Thumbs up Best of Both in Greensboro

Try the Stoney Creek area, beautiful, quiet, close enough to G'boro to enjoy city, far enough to have some privacy

Default Where to live

North of Greensboro you have the smaller communites of Oakridge,
Summerfield, Stokesdale, and then Rockingham county communities
these are smaller, more country settings
Then you hit the Virginia line, Close enough to drive to work to Greensboro or Winston and then go home to the peace of country living
South of Greensboro you have the smaller communities of Pleasant Garden, Level Cross (Home of Richard Petty) Randleman, Ramseur, Franklinville, Climax
again smaller country areas close enough to the big cities where you can have the best of both worlds
