Hello,
This forum is great for getting a feel for places. We are planning a move to the Greensboro area later this year. We are looking at areas north of Greensboro all the way over to Kernersville. Does anyone have any information about Christian schools? We are looking for an affordable Christian elementary school and a good public high school. I would be grateful for any info.
I have looked at the websites about the different schools. There does not seem to be alot Christian schools. Maybe it is because they are spread around in the smaller towns and I just do not know where to look.

Default Area Schools

I have been around K'ville for over 30 years. Gospel Light Baptist and Kerwin Baptish have always had a quality reputation. Oak Ridge Military has started taking day students that do not need to join the military aspect of the school. Bishop McGuinness also has a good reputation.

Here are some links that might help you......

Default Thank you

Thanks for the school recommendations and the links. Those links are very helpful.
We were interested in Kernersville because it seems to have a small town feel to it. Is that about right?

Thanks

the small town feel depends on where you are from. It is much slower paced than the big city, but if you are from the sticks like me, having a Walmart within 5 miles makes it a big city. If you go there you will be able to find anything from condo's to farmhouses.

Smile Christian school in High Point ...

I'm not from the area, but my wife and I have considered relocating to the Triad.

We have a nephew in Wesleyan Christian School in High Point. His family seems to like it.

Yes, there are some very nice private schools in the area. K-ville is quiet and has a hometown feel.

This might help:
