If you had the power, influence, or money to change something about your Triad city or community, what would it be?

What would I change? If I were a philanthropist, I would create a few museums.

Hmm. I would like for there to be less building going on. I know, it's growing. But I still prefer to keep the trees and grass that we have.

Building lots should be minimum 1/2-1 acre but the developers have too much influence with the city councils.

3500 sq ft homes on 1/4 acre lots does not give you much breathing room. Isn't this why some have moved here from the crowded Northeast?

I wish we had many more sidewalks and bikepaths.....it is too car-dependant here.

More sidewalks and bikepaths would be a HUGE improvement to the Triad

I think that having more sidewalks and bikepaths is a beautiful idea.

I couldn't agree more. When I talk to people back home, I always tell them how much I like it here except for the lack of sidewalks. I am actually having a hard time with how much I have to drive for everything and how I can't even go on a walk in my neighborhood because I would be pushing my babystroller pretty much in the road.

Default What would I change

If I had money, power and influence, I would use it to change the entire Guilford County judicial system and to train Social Services properly.
I don't actually live in Guilford County, thank God, for that, but I live nearby and have dealings there.

Winston is full of libs! They import them from NYC and NJ, lol.
My entire family is liberal democrat as are almost everyone I know from the sticks to downtown. There are small pockets of conservatives, but they aren't the majority by any means. I think there is ONE conservative on the W-S City Council right?
