One-month temp. housing with cat and dog. (Greensboro: rentals, house)

Hi everyone,

We are moving to Greensboro with Mack Trucks and will be living in temporary housing for about a month until we find a nice rental home. We already have a Realtor for that.

I was hoping to find something in Adams Farm, Lake Jeanette, Fisher or Irving Park. Needs to be pet-friendly, of course. And a community pool would be great this time of year.

Any suggestions would be great. Please, no Realtors -- we have one!

Would live to try one of those 'hoods before we decide to rent there.

2 days and no replies?! I have found some decent corporate housing for a month so maybe I will quiz you guys for the best choice!

I've never heard of being able to rent a house for only a month. Adding pets to the equation makes it that much more difficult. That's probably why you haven't had any replies. Corporate short-term housing seems like the best/only choice.

I don't know if they have any listings in the area, but try vrbo.com. That's for vacation rentals so it might be rather expensive, but many places listed will rent by the month.

Let me clarifiy... I meant other than vacation rentals, and I never thought of Greensboro as a vacation destination.

Thanks for the advice. I shall go check vrbo.com right now. I do see some furnished corp. housing near Lake Jeanette and Adams Farm, and ideally, would like to rent there for a month before we commit to a year's rental.
