Any fun places to visit with dogs? (Greensboro: military, stores)

I will be in the Greensboro area on Saturday and am looking for somewhere fun to go with the dogs.

I know about the dog park, which looks great, but also wondering about other places.

Any beautiful parks or gardens? Any stores that allow them inside? Pretty walking paths? Urban areas that are dog friendly? Any hiking trails that they can be off leash at? Etc. Etc.

National Military Park in Greensboro is my fav. place to walk my pooch! Especially if you like history. It's a beautiful park with plenty of walking paths and monuments along the way of your walk, no matter which path you take. I absolutely love it there!! Here is their site.
