Greensboro taxes are relatively cheap compared to NJ.
My property in NJ is assessed at 300K ( 1 acre just the property not the house) total taxes $11,800.
1/2 of my SS income goes just to pay property taxes.
In NC I would not have to work part time and I could enjoy my retirement.
