Help! (Relocation question) (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Salem: rent to own, condo, low crime)

Hello, I am relocating to the area in June and I just wanted to see if anyone could help me out with a couple of questions. I am working in the Belews Creek area but I would like to live in a city, Greensboro or WS.

I was wondering if there are any neighborhoods you would recommend for a single 23 year old male. I would like to spend less than 500/month on rent but I can go higher. I plan to take a scouting trip but I really have not even looked around at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I were you, I'd look in Ardmore in Winston-Salem. It's the area around N.C. Baptist Hospital and is very nice. People walk or ride bikes around, there's lots of stuff around, very convenient. A large majority of the folks who live there are early 20's-30's.

Hubby relocating to NC for work in Winston Salem off Aureole St.. Looking for a nice low crime area, country setting that is close to his work. Looking to rent a condo/townhome or even rent to own a 2 bdrm home that's under $800 a month. Relocation will be around April 26th to May 7th!

Any help would be great. Coming from Northern Kentucky area.

Ardmore area is nice, or for only $500/month, there may be something in the University area that you could find. You should also be able to find stuff around the area of Baptist Hospital, which is a nice area and has some cheaper houses if you could find a roommate.
