Default What city in NC are you moving to?

I see you are in El Paso. When are you moving?

Craigslist, in my opinion, is shady at best in regards to conducting a job search.

Stick with Monster, Careerbuilder, and Yahoo! HotJobs. Build your resume and put it on these three sites and you may have some luck getting through to recruiters.

Also Indeed.com and SimplyHired.com are great for bringing together almost all jobs postings.

Good luck!

It would help if you gave an idea of the type of job you were looking for. What is your field?

It's sad. VERY sad. Scary, because I want to adopt and am half way there saving wise, but my job is now at risk. I pray things will get better very soon!! Wow.

Hi all! First time poster here.

cherrychic88, I'd have to agree with roncorey1. Craigslist is a bit shady. I really like Indeed.com. It aggregates job postings from all the major career sites and you can narrow donwn your search by salary, etc. And you don't have to register to view available positions. A quick search just a minute ago on Indeed showed 3000 posted jobs in Greensboro. It jumps to 6,000 when you include surrounding towns and cities.

What fields/areas are you looking for? If you could provide more background information (age, education, field you'd like to work in), I believe many of us could provide you with better advice about where to search and who to talk to in the area.
