I guess I'm just venting but I had registered with the Dept. of Employment. My office is the Greensboro office. I received a letter from them the day before yesterday saying to call the office immediately regarding two jobs I was interested in. I called the office yesterday morning and left a message. When I didn't hear back within a reasonable time I called off and on the rest of the day and got a busy signal. Finally, at 4:30 I got through and spoke to the same woman who had taken my earlier message and she said she would give the consultant another message. Same thing this morning, called all day and received constant busy signal. Finally, I called the High Point office and they told me that one of the jobs had been closed today. It's just really irritating that you can't get through. I wish they would also consider contacting people by e-mail. Okay, thanks for listening and just wondering what others' experience was.
