QT is the BEST! It isn't just a "gas station"......it is the like the Whole Foods/Trader Joes of convenience stores. They are fantastic! It'll be great to see their stores sprinkled around the area.

I have QT where I live and they are the best. I get my gas there and get my lunch from there most days. I stop there atleast 2x a day on work days.

When I drove to Atlanta regularly for business, I looked forward to a welcomed respite at the first QT I came too. They have a great selection of cold drinks and fresh sandwiches.

A nice addition to the Greenville area.

BTW, the Spinxs on Standing Springs Rd in Simpsonville has converted the Chicken Resturant to a "commissary" to make fresh sandwiches for it's locations in the area. Looks like QT has already improved the area.

I have noticed construction for QuikTrip at Wade Hampton Boulevard at Rushmore Drive has not started yet. Is construction delayed?

The sign just went up a couple of weeks ago. They have to tear down the old Burger King first.

The Burger King on Wade Hampton Blvd. is now completely demolished. Good to hear the stores here will be of their newest prototype design: QuikTrip gasoline, convenience stores coming to Spartanburg | GoUpstate.com and http://www.independentmail.com/news/...n-quiktrip-go/

Oh and this QuikTrip is 10+ times better looking then the one I visited in Atlanta which was old and need of a major renovation: Quick Trip New Gas Station Tulsa, Oklahoma | Tulsa Food

I think I might be changing my tune for the better when it comes to this. I like how they're putting these stations in places where old businesses once stood like the old Sonny's in Anderson, old Wendy's in Spartanburg and the old Burger King in Greenville. Can't complain about that at all.

These 5,700 square foot prototypes are more than 1,000-square-feet larger than an average QuikTrip, leaving room for more products. The downtown location has a new tea section, with 16 flavors of tea, an area with 12 frozen drink flavors and a full-service specialty drinks section. In addition to the QTKitchens products with deli sandwiches, pastries and salads, the Generation 3s have Grab and Go products.
