For something unique and a bit relaxing, I recommend the Dacusville Farm Days, which has been an annual tradition for thousands of area residents for many years.

On Saturday morning volunteers can participate in an organized effort to maintain the natural beauty and ecological significance of our precious local resource called the Reedy River.

Greenville Drive games this weekend with fireworks tonight and Sunday. Also, Sunday is Family Funday @ the park, allowing kids to run the bases after the game. I believe this is their last weekend of games.

Upper SC State Fair is going on now through Sept. 12. It is located at the fairgrounds between Greenville and Easley of of 123. Admission is $6. Opens at 4pm.

In case you want to venture out of G'Vegas:

Spartanburg has Creative Tastes of Spartanburg on Saturday:

Home : Spartanburg Creative Energy

Hendersonville has its annual Apple Festival, which I've always enjoyed as one of the better street festivals in the area.

Not if we make the playoffs which we very well might seeing how we're currently in first place. If we do, the first game is scheduled for September 8th at Fluor Field.
