The GSO concert last evening was wonderful, as always. It was partially funded by the German Consulate General in Atlanta, who was in attendance. The orchestra opened with the German national anthem, followed by the usual rousing rendition of the U.S. national anthem. The audience, who appeared to fill every seat in the concert hall, seemed to enjoy every moment of each well performed work. They'll do it all again this afternoon at 3pm.
FYI, during intermission, the talented young guest soloist will be on the ground level of the lobby signing CDs and other items.
