I do have a problem with the idea of lumping "harassment" into the same category as "assult" when referring to criminal activity, especially sexually motivated criminal activity. That being the case, I understand Art's point, although I believe it is always good to alert the authorities about such behavior. There is a HUGE difference between verbally expressed devious desires and crminal sexual assult.

Nonetheless, this man did expose his wicked intentions to a complete stranger and should definitely be avoided. Thank you for sounding the alarm, Tamajama!

Not sure why I typed the wrong spelling for the word "assault". Please excuse my lack of phone texting skill.

Actually, my wife went through a much worse experience than this a few years ago where an actual crime was committed. Thankfully she had the physical ability and mental wherewithal to get out of the situation unharmed (physically). As is most often the case, the incident occurred with someone she knew and the police were pretty powerless to do anything about it.

I'm sure the guy in the OP's incident would have raised my wife's alarms as well, but I think the police couldn't do much in this situation. That was and is my point, but nice try at making some sort of fallacious argument there.
