Sadly, another car dealership in Simpsonville has closed. UpCountry Ford closed it's doors on Sept. 30.

Hate to see that, even though I don't drive a Ford. The dealership was only a few years old. Don't like seeing Simpsonville lose the tax base and jobs. I suppose they can't compete with the dealerships on Laurens Road.

They didn't close. They became a Suzuki dealership. There is a new Kia dealership in Powdersville if you want to buy one of their vehicles.

I'll miss those commercials....(not!)

I'm a little surprised to hear that a Kia dealership would close though. Since it's corporate parent Hyundai is doing so well.
