Not entirely sure but I think it's from inside the restaurant. I don't recall seeing a place to enter the basement from the alley. Could be wrong though. It's been a while since i've been to Barley's sadly.

Didn't The Baitshack have an entrance on Main St? I don't see how something in Barley's basement could do that...

They may add an entrance to the building facing Washington, similar to the entrance for Blu Martini on North Main. Just a guess.

The Trappe Door will be entered between Barleys and Wild Wings! It's gonna be awesome!!!! Cool atmosphere, good food!!! Planning to open late February to March!!!

darn, I was really hoping for a geniune trap door! can't wait for this place to open.

The owner is expecting to open the new restaurant/bar within three or four weeks.

Check out their website, which has almost daily photo updates of the interior construction progress. The space itself is a really cool space.

I got to take a peek at a menu recently, and I have to say this will certainly give nosedive a run for its money. I didn't realize the food menu would be so extensive! should be open soon!
