Can anyone tell me anything about there experiences going to Greenville Tech and/or the neighborhoods around it.We are coming there soon but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
I haven't attended or lived in the area, but I know a couple years ago, they opened on-campus housing. Also, there are some apartment complexes within walking distance.
Thanks UpstateBooster,I'll be buying a house in Greenville, and I want to be close to town to enjoy all the things city living has to offer. We are moving from W.V.by way of Fla.We lived way out in the woods in W.V. so we have gotten that pretty much out of our system.I have been a Plumber for about 30years and I would like to learn HVAC to go along with that.It looks like Greenville Tech has a good program for that.Looking forward to seeing the area.

There are neighborhoods from all over the spectrum within a short distance of Greenville Tech's main campus. There are some real estate agents that frequent this forum, so I'm sure they'll be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!
I am currently attending Greenville tech for my associates in network administration. there is pretty much any kind of housing you could possibly be looking for within minutes of the school.
Give me a few questions to answer so I know exactly what you need to know and I will do my best to help you. I love the school and think it pretty much caters to anyone. plenty of online courses, Clemson and USC Transfer programs, certificate programs, and flexible class times for those of us that work and go to school. ok I sound like a gvl tech so i'll stop there but ask away and i'll be happy to answer anything I can.

I have been looking in the Sans Souci and east side of GV at houses on the Internet,I am wondering how getting to the main campus of GV Tech will be. I will have to go at night. Is there any possibility of Public Trans?
Does anyone use the buses? Thanks
You'd have to go through downtown or up to the Cherrydale area and get on Pleasantburg Dr and go around that way to get to Greenville Tech from the Sans Souci area. There are Greenlink bus routes into downtown from the Sans Souci area - you'd probably have to transfer downtown. However, I'm not sure how late at night Greenlink runs.
The Eastside is a big area - any specific roads or neighborhoods you've been looking in there? I'm not sure about Greenlink coverage in that area.
