Cyclsts have the right to share the road with other traffic. They also have the right to ride safely, obey all traffic laws and not impede motorized traffic or deliberately cause a dangerous situation.

One of the solutions used in the past is to require cyclists to use county roadst at all times until they reach their destination. Cyclists are given maps with all the cycle routes plainlu marked. The routes bypass towns like Greenville. .

I tried biking when I lived in Greenville and didn't bother more than twice. It's too dangerous.

The signs clearly state bicycles aren't allowed on interstates. I don't know why you ignored them when you lived here JS1.

As an in-home personal trainer, I recommend my clients that decide to take up biking do so on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It's long enough for even the seasoned biker, yet safe for families.

Although, watch out. There are a few bikers who fly through the trail and take corners with no second glance. I've almost been run over several times by bikers rounding blind curves.
