Partner's job in 2000. We've both got different jobs than we had when we first moved here, and have been fortunate enough to both be able to office from home!

I'd also like to add, are you happy with the move?

Born here. Moved away when I was a kid. Moved back two years ago to be closer to my remaining family.

I'm from Charleston, moved here in '97 and love it. I had no reason to move up here other than I wanted to be closer to the mtns and wanted a change. Me and my dog up and moved up here and I love the area, people, etc. I just hope it doesn't get too big. I liked all the open spaces and country feel but I'm afraid it'll get too big and the green goes by the wayside.

The company that my husband, and our two sons, work for had them working down here in the area on a daily basis. It was soon realized that just transferring the family here would be more beneficial. We all (the two of us and our 5 kids) moved down here in June of 2010 and settled in Taylors. We have never been disappointed with the transfer. We came down from NC.

Loved the scenery and weather, so I jumped on a job opportunity within my company.
