Hi everyone,

What are your favorite craft stores in the area? I see a quilt store listing in the Yahoo! directory in Inman, where we will live hopefully, so I'm excited. Any other favorite local quilt stores, or knitting supply stores?

Thanks!

Kim

I get my stuff (for crochet) at AC Moore's on Woodruff Road. Hobby Lobby has some nice stuff, too. I usually go to the one in Taylors. I think there's another one farther down on Woodruff Road, too.

Worst thing about Hobby Lobby is that they aren't open on Sundays. Other than that, they have an okay selection.

There's also another craft store called Michael's. I believe it's off Haywood Road. It would carry the same supplies.

My Mom is a huge knitter, and she goes to a place on East Blackstock Road called Robins Bead Nest. It is a yarn/bead store. Robin's Bead Nest

They have knitting groups that she enjoys. There is also the Needletree in Greenville. I don't knit, but I LOVE that my Mom does, we reap the benefits.

The Michael's in Spartanburg is in the Dorman Centre off of Highway 29 on the Westside.

They also just opened a Jo-Ann fabrics right behind the Westgate Mall. Not that I would ever have a need to go in either store, but it's there!
