Definitely not Spartanburg, but there are three different haunted houses along 123 between Greenville and Easley. Two are near the speedway, and the third is off 123, somewhere down Kay Drive. Just follow the signs, I guess. I don't know if any are open during the week. I know one for sure is only weekends.

Most of the ones I've seen seem to be haunted trails which I guess falls into the same general category.
Wompus Woods in Cowpens in very popular. People have talked about it for years. Nightmare Hollow is on Reidville Rd. on the westside of Spartanburg. And WSPA profiled one the other night in Wellford called Boneyard Haunted Trail. It seems like there are many more all over the area.

The same people who produced Gallows Hall last year are hosting tours of The Stanley Hotel this year. It is located across from the Hyatt Regency on North Main Street in Greenville. It is based on Stephen King's 'The Shining.'

There is going to be one at the old Taylors Mill property. I don't know all of the details, but is the perfect place for a haunted house. By the way, the place is full of artist studio's too. There is also a coffee roaster/house coming soon.
